The Perfect Cup (The Mr.)

What we use:
Our own roasted beans
Hario Bruno Kettle
Hario V60
Hario Glass Server 400 mL
Pour Over Stand – Made by Ryan’s dad

The Process:

Heat up 24 ounces of filtered water to a boil.  (We use a Capresso, but heating it on the stove works as well.) Weigh out 24 grams of coffee beans.  Grind the beans on a medium to fine setting.  Transfer water to kettle and wet filter inside the Hario V60.  Get rid of excess water from wetting filter.  Pour in coffee grinds.  Pour 2 ounces of water in circular over the grinds.  Stop pour and allow to plume for 30 seconds.  Continue to pour 10 ounces onto the coffee.  While the coffee continues to drip, fill coffee cups with the remaining water in the kettle.  Once the coffee is finished, pour out water from coffee cups and serve!

Much Love,

The Mr.
