A few weeks ago we had the chance to go to our pastors house for dinner and his wife made the tastiest oven baked zucchini fries and oven baked pickles. She said she had recently found the recipe off of pinterest so I decided to try it out my own version.
Zucchini (sliced in thin sticks) and pickles
Parmesan cheese (grated)
Two dashed of garlic powder
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions: Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Dip the zucchini fries in melted butter and then roll in dry mixture. Place on cookie sheet. Place in oven for 20 minutes, moving around every 5 minutes.
For the pickles, I did the same exact thing except I dipped in egg mixture before rolling in dry mixture.
Note: For nice crispy fries cut thin. We used jalapeno mustard for dipping.
